We can all let out a collective sigh of relief now that the holidays are over. Phew! We survived…

While having the family together, breaking bread, celebrating and gift giving makes the holidays magical, I will say, there’s nothing like the moment that last relative leaves and you finally get your house back to yourself. (Or, maybe, the moment you finally escape your in-laws’ house…)

The planning, prepping, shopping, cooking and hosting is done and it’s quiet for the first time in weeks. Who knew how nice quiet could be?! Maybe you have the next few days off or you’re playing sudoku at your desk in a barren office, either way, this week is the perfect time to treat yourself to a little “me” time before the festivities of New Year’s Eve roll around the corner.

Draw yourself a hot bath, put a little Sade on and unwind. Tub required, wine optional, and if you want to make it extra decadent, here are a few of our favorite at-home spa essentials for soft skin and a revived spirit. You may just feel like a new woman by the time 2017 rolls around.

SOAK

Therapie Roques Oneil Joie Mini Uplifting Bath Infusion
I was expecting just another bath infusion, but this Joie Mini startled me with its powerfully moving aromatherapy. Developed by Michelle Roques-O’Neil, dubbed one of the top ten aromatherapists in the world by Vogue, the mix of clay powders and aromatherapy notes will take you and your bath on a spiritual journey (dramatic, yes, but this stuff is good). One mini bag has enough for ten baths and at $12, it’ll be the best money you’ll spend on yourself all year. roquesoneil.com, $12

Pursoma Digital Detox
For those who may have overindulged during the holidays (myself included), this strong mineral sea salt and clay detox bath is what you need. The salt helps the body sweat and opens pores, while the natural montmorilonite clay pulls toxins from the skin. Once you’re done, wrap yourself in a warm towel, crawl under the covers and continue sweating for 20-minutes. This mini detox will have you feeling reborn. pursomalife.com, $34

EXFOLIATE

Herbivore Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish
If you find yourself too lazy to be bothered to apply body moisturizer after bathing, do your skin a favor and use this body polish. The coconut oil and rose extract leaves skin feeling hydrated, while the sugar beads buff away dead skin cells for an easy two-in-one moisturizing exfoliator. www.herbivorebotanicals.com, $36

LilFox Jungle Glow Rainforest Honey Enzyme Cleanser + Mask
This mask by newcomer, all natural brand, LilFox, just makes me so happy. Aside from lightening red acne scars and giving my skin an overall glow the morning after, the scent of honey, antioxidant rich passionfruit oil and rose hips oil creates a beautiful, citrus-y, uplifting aroma that I am obsessed with! Slather it on and wash off as a cleanser or let sit for 5-30 minutes as a mask and really do it’s magic. lilfox.miami, $75

RESTORE

Sangre De Fruta  Botanical Body Cream
There are so many beautiful natural brands popping up and Sangre De Fruta is one of them. Their Botanical Body Cream straddles the line between oil and cream and is for anyone who wants something extra decadent. The whipped butter texture melts to an oil from the warmth of your skin and comes in fragrances so delicious I just want them all. www.sangredefruta.com, $23.59

Omorovicza Body Cream
Lately, I’ve been discussing with my girlfriends the fact that my cellulite is spreading north and south. TMI? This is due to thinning of the skin with age making unforgiving areas less forgiving. The solution: Use anti-aging body care products a la Omorovicza’s Body Cream, which contains Omega 6 Ceramides that tighten and strengthen the skin’s barrier function and peptides that boost the skin’s collagen. A little pricey, but it comes in a HUGE jar and is currently on sale! www.omorovicza.com, $76 (originally $95)

Kypris Body Elixir Inflorescence
I’m not going to lie, this little 100mL bottle (the size of a small bottle of cough syrup) is pricey. But if you’re as serious about anti-aging on your body as you are on your face, then this body oil is a no-brainer. Stem cells and Vitamin C Ester are blended with phyto-nutrient botanical oils that diminish sun damage, boost collagen and firmness, soothe dryness, increase luminosity and basically, make your body look ten years younger. (Well, almost…) kyprisbeauty.com, $95
