Product: Rituel De Fille Ash & Ember Eye Soot
Why you’ll love them: I’ve said it time and again – I can’t be bothered with makeup: I need easy, foolproof, lazy-girl makeup. In my world, that means fingertip application and easy blendability, please. My eyeshadow brushes have collected a lot of dust, which is why these eyeshadows from nontoxic brand, Rituel de Fille, are perfect for me! They blend smooth with fingertips and allow for buildable depth. They don’t contain any waxes, so the shadows will never melt with the warmth of your skin, crease or fold!
The colors are dreamy, romantic, moody and finish with an iridescent shimmer. Subtle to deep build ability and intensely pigmented! I love mixing the powder eye soots with the creme pigments to create a creamy texture and a wider range of colors.

The three ash & ember eye soot colors I tested:
COLOR: Sigil | DESCRIPTION: A warm champagne gold with a hint of pale pink. This shade is a resonant whisper. Sigil brings light to any eye color, and can be worn either as an all-over wash, a highlight, or a brightening liner.
COLOR: Serpent de Mer | DESCRIPTION: A dramatic burnt taupe with a hint of violet and subtle metallic bronze highlights.
COLOR: Nightshade | DESCRIPTION: Warm aubergine with a subtle shimmer.
You guys already read my song of praise for the Ritual De Fille Inner Glow Creme Pigment multi-purpose (eyes, cheeks, lips) pots. They play well with the eye soots, as you’ll see below I mixed them with the power shadows to expand my color palette.
Tips: Apply foundation on top of lids, then apply the eyeshadow on top. This creates a smooth surface and makes finger blending sooooo easy. When I tried applying the eyeshadow on top of bare lids, it caused skipping and unevenness.
