It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Marie Veronique and her line of organic skincare. I’ve raved about her tinted sunscreen and of course her collaboration with in-demand Bay-area facialist, Kristina Holey, on their set of three serums – Barrier Restore, Soothing B and Intensive Repair – that helped heal my perioral dermatitis. So when it was announced the two were launching a range of products to work in tandem with their widely acclaimed serums, I was ecstatic!  If you spend even the briefest amount of time in Marie Veronique and Kristina Holey’s orbit, you’ll catch on quickly that these two women…

Back in July, I sat down with chemist, organic skincare founder and former rosacea and acne sufferer, Marie Veronique, and in-demand Bay-area facialist, Kristina Holey, to pick their brains for answers to my biggest skincare questions: Is candida linked to perioral dermatitis? Below is a list of face and lip makeup that I have found to be safe for me and the best makeup…

What always appeared to just be nostril and chin redness (perhaps, due to years of sun damage or smoking I wrongly presumed) was in fact the dreaded PD. Thankfully, as fate would have it I met up with my girlfriend, January, aesthetician and founder of skincare brand, January Labs, for hot yoga one morning. As we were walking out of the ninety-eight degree torture chamber (I only go to these types of things at the behest of friends), I could feel the skin…
